Computer Freezing
Computer freezing? Don’t know why? There could be many possible reasons for this. The most common reason could be your windows registry. From the time you turn on your computer, the windows registry starts keeping track of important information.
The windows registry stores information such as the hardware that is installed in your computer, the memory configuration, what programs and system files are required when starting up your computer, etc… It doesn’t matter how much data is accessed, the Operating System of your computer will look in the registry to find out where the file is located and which version it is. That makes the registry a very integral part of computer.
When some of the registries are corrupt, it causes the operating system to slow down or even freeze until it can find the desired information (if it can find it at all). This problem is caused from updates that are incompatible, they have been tampered with, viruses, Spyware etc…
Sometimes a third party application such as registry cleaners can take care of SOME of these problems. They do this by locating all the registries that have problems or invalid entries and fixing them. But if the registry cleaner is not able to repair the corrupt registries then you will have a serious problem to deal with. That is where you might be required to reformat your primary hard drive and lose all the information in it.
Fortunately, there is a better way!
You can overcome this situation by using some Data Recovery Software. They simply scan the hard drive using algorythms then give you the results so you can make an educated choice as to which registries to repair and which to leave alone.
There are many data recovery programs available in stores and online and some work better than others. Some of the better ones allow you to try for free, offering online computer scans. I have used some of these successfully and have enjoyed a cleaner computer because of it.
Some of the free Registry Cleaners I have used with success are…
There are literally hundreds of such applications.
